Arriving
This beauty of a Great Blue heron was seen at Fern Ridge. I only had time for a quick walk before an appointment, but I am so glad I made time to visit the wildlife area in Eugene Oregon. The day was a welcome break from snow and rain, and I loved seeing the flight and landing of this lovely heron. Texture and a painterly finish to soften the surrounding landscape.
