Description
Banyan Tree at Bonnet House
This Banyan tree sat outside the Bonnet House. This is a ficus. Aerial proper roots grow into thick trunks that become indistinguishable from original tree.
This image is actually composed of three exposures, since the tree was too large to fit in my camera. In the center of the tree is an iguana lizard which I had photographed earlier. At the time I took this picture, I couldn't see where he had gone to, but looking at this image, I see him making his way towards a branch that is away from the house.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
