Description
John Moulton Barn
When I look back on some of the photographs taken on my first full day in the Grand Tetons on this trip, I was surprised that on some the clouds seem so intense. Apparently often the clouds blow in around noon, linger for an hour or two and then disperse. Although this day was not as clear as the next, looking at the times on the heavily clouded photos, they were taken around the middle of the day. I took some clear images of this same scene, but really loved the way the clouds hovered around the barn.
John Moulton and his brother, T. A. Moulton, both built barns around the early 1900s and both still stand today and are widely photographed with the Grand Tetons as the most beautiful backdrop.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
I currently reside in Oregon, an environment rich in nature's graces. I have lived in California and New York, too, and everywhere there is a world of beauty around us, if we care to take the time and look for it.
