Description
Long-Billed Curlew
This North American Shorebird is now widespread despite once having a Near Threatened status due to hunting. In fact, Candlestick Park in San Francisco was named after this bird, but ironically, by the time the park was constructed in the 1950s, few were left in the area after being decimated by hunters. This Long-Billed Curlew was seen in Eastern Oregon.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
