The forecast for my Kauai, Hawaii vacation had been rain, rain, rain, for the whole week, but on the second day, the weather suddenly cleared for four days, and it was lovely. There are many sights to see and things to do on Kauai - beautiful uncrowded beaches, challenging hikes, whales, dolphins, birds, and even mountain goats, along with lots and lots of roosters, hens and chicks. One of the most magical places on earth, rain or shine, Kauai is lush and tranquil. This red crested cardinal was keeping a sharp eye out!

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life.
