A Bouquet of Mergansers
In late summer it is not uncommon to see large groups of merganser swimming, feeding and resting in a group. This is this year's photo (2017) of the mergansers resting on a rock. Five of the ducks look one way, the other look in the opposite direction. Their grouping reminded me of a flower arrangement.
