A Leader Among Sheep
These Big Horn Sheep were seen along the Swiftcurrent Pass Trail in Glacier National Park. The ram in the foreground was taking the lead, when it came to checking out the intruders and behind him, you can see the others looking to him for guidance. We had just encountered one small herd on the lower face of Swiftcurrent Mountain but were told by other hikers to expect another herd directly on the path, which they were. I had to back off of the path to keep my distance.
