Description
A Mother and Her Two Cubs, No. 2
We came upon these two Brown Bear cubs with their mother by a stream. The setting with the long grass and the stream was just beautiful. These were older cubs, at least two years old (they will stay with their mother for three years) and during that time she will not have another litter. One of them seemed more attached to its mother, looking towards here while the other seemed more independent. Later the one cub went to eat by its mother side which was very sweet until the cub happened to eat grass that was more in front of the mother and got a growl as a rebuke and a swift thwack to its body from it’s mother head and neck. The poor little cub looked quite sad and went off to sulk. I like this series of images as they give you an idea of the bears’ habitat.
