A Mother's Care, No. 1
A wild foal and its mother have a tender moment. This is a square version of three versions of the image. The original includes what a second foal, (I believe the sibling to this foaI) while the two crops focus in on the affectionate moment between the mare and her foal. These mustangs are from the Palomino Butte Herd in Oregon (obviously the herd does not consist of all palominos - this harem was mostly chestnuts.)
