Bison Clearing Out the Photographers from in Front of the Badger Den
This was a funny story. There were eight to ten photographers who were waiting in front of a badger den. The mother was out hunting and every so often the two cubs would pop out. Another photographer driving by, stopped to chat with a friend. Suddenly he says, "Well, look at this hairy guy coming your way." No one reacted. We thought he was referring to another photographer who was walking down the road towards the den. Finally someone turned around and saw the real hairy guy coming over the hill right towards us. I think he wanted to see what all the fuss was about. All the photographers backed off, and he went right up to where there was a sign asking people to remain behind that area so as not to disturb the den. He paused, staying out of the restricted area, changed course to cross the street and went on his way.
