Description
Clear Lake, Fall 2018, No. 3
There is nothing that helps to ease one's anxiety about the state of the world as a visit to the natural world to put things in perspective. My choice was Clear Lake, always beautiful but especially during fall when when the fall colors of the non-evergreen flora rims the emerald green hues of the lake like mini-jewels surrounding a larger one. Clear Lake was formed when lava flow from a volcano reached and was stopped by what is now McKenzie River. It is one of the coldest and clearest lakes in the Oregon Cascades.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
