Coming Closer
This cow moose was seen at a distance down in the area below Blacktail Pond Overlook. I walked along the rim of the plateau above this to get closer to the moose and suddenly she noticed me above her. I was probably about 200 yards away from her. What startled me is that next, she came closer to me (stopping here and looking up the hill at me) and at one point it seemed like she would run up the bank towards me, so I backed away until I was out of her sight. Then she ran south and stopped at another pond to graze and drink.
