Coming Through - Grizzly 399 and One of Her Cubs
Grizzly 399 is a bear famous beyond the Grand Tetons, known for mothering many cubs over the years. Because she is 24 years old, the last thing people expected was her to emerge from her den with four cubs.. Here, she had worked her way down from Signal Mountain with her cubs cavorting and trailing behind her, every once in a while pausing to look at the human spectators.
