Description
Fall on the McKenzie River
The McKenzie River is a 90 mile tributary of the Willamette River, flowing westward from its point of origin at Clear Lake, in the Willamette National Forest. Over 96% of the basin is forested and the shores of the river are home to osprey, Bald eagles, and many variety of ducks while it's waters have Chinook salmon, trout and white fish. I have also seen, beavers, coypu and river otters, and once, what I believed to be a mink.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
