Flamingos on the Walvis Bay Waterfront
These are mostly lesser flamingos, in the foreground, at least, but there are at least two greater flamingo among the darker beaked lesser flamingos. I loved the way these lovely birds looked against the pale colors of the Walvis Bay waterfront sand, water and sky. For the most part, they seemed to congregate with their own, although there were often a group of each in proximity to each other.
