Getting In Too Deep
An Oryx or Gemsbok temporarily stuck in the mud at the Chudob waterhole in Etosha Naitonal Park in Namibia. Backstory: A Greater Kudu male had come down to drink but when he wanted to leave, there was an ornery oryx blocking his way (top right one by dust and a picture of this can be found in the Namibia and Botswana collection or Wildlife collection ). The Oryx escapes by jumping from where he was. (an image showing the scene preceding this can be found in same collections). Here, in this image, the oryx went to the spot where the kudu was (must be fresher water there) and nearly got stuck in the mud. Karma! :)
