Golden Eagle and Magpie Picking Bones, No. 2
I was on my way to Steens Mountain when I spotted this Golden Eagle eating something by the side of the road. I turned my car around to get a few shots of him. By his side is a magpie, also taking advantage of the feast. I'm not sure what the carcass belonged too, perhaps a coyote, a pronghorn antelope or small calf?
