Grasshopper in the Grass, No. 1 bw

One cool walk I take that I can only do during the summer or early fall is a walk on Fish Lake's dry lake bed. The grass is super long and my dog loves to jump over and run through it. Even walking can be difficult, as the ground is uneven. The long grass is home to lots of grasshopper like this little fellow waiting for me to take its picture. Look closely and take a look at it's face! Also available in color.
