Description
Grazing for Survival
It was one of the warmest years for Phoenix on record and both rain and snowfall were below normal levels. That could have been one of the reasons that the seven mustangs I saw on my recent trip there were all busy grazing with hardly a raised head. This was one that looked in better shape, but a few of the seven had a very predominant showing of ribs despite their winter coats.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
