Great Blue Heron at Carmen Reservoir, No. 1
Stopped by Carmen Reservoir on the way home from Fish Lake in Oregon, to see who was about. Saw two Great Blue Herons - one, younger, more sleek and this fellow with great breeding plumage. He was a bit sleepy. Took several pictures of him and in a couple, his eyes are partially or fully closed.
