Great Horned Owlet at Malheur HQ
This was the first owlet we saw at Malheur, hanging out right at the headquarters. Neither of its parents were in sight. I had wanted to get back to another part of the refuge where a Great Horned Owl was nesting, and when we visited, we saw three more owlets. These owlets are such beauties!
