Description
Historic Low Levels at Jackson Lake
The lake is at an historic low level, due to a drought in the Snake River Basin and demands from downstream irrigation in Idaho. In March, it was at 21% of its capacity. The winter was only 83# of normal for snowpack levels and some marinas in the national park will remain closed or close early.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
