Description
Looking South Towards Mt Burgess from Emerald Lake
Emerald Lake and Mt Burgess are in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada. This lake was named for its beautiful green color caused by powdered limestone. The Canadian guide who named it had also named another lake with the same name - later changed to Lake Louise. Mt Burgess and Wapta Mountain are part of the President Range of the Canadian Rockies.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
