New Year's Day Walk by Clear Lake
The path was fairly well packed by snowshoers who had gone before us, but there were still spots we post-holed in if we stepped too far to one side. It was well worth the effort to take in the beauty left by the storm that had left plentiful snow in the forest and on the trees. There were ducks and geese on the water and you could even get over the bridge on the trail, although it felt odd to be standing 2 feet higher than normal.
