Peace as Pastime
Taking a 5 mile walk around my sister's rural neighborhood, I found this lovely pastoral scene where the two horses were grazing in front of an old corral and barn. It was one of a few days where the winds were bringing the haze from the fires at County Line (104 miles away). These two horses looked quite content in front of their old corral and stable. Upon reviewing this image, I found the palomino horse had a very nasty V-shpaed scar on its face. It made me feel like the peace found in its current situation was well deserved.
