Placer River at the Bend in Turnagain Arm, No. 2
Drive the Seward Highway south from Anchorage, you will come to a bridge that crosses Placer River right about the bend in Turnagain Arm, just after passing Portage Valley. The river was smooth and the reflections of the scenery was just one of many beautiful views along the way. A gravel pullout provided the perfect spot to get out, smell the fresh air and enjoy the scenery!
