Portage Lake, No. 2
Portage Lake is a amazingly beautiful glacial lake in Portage Valley and Chugach National Forest of Alaska. The lake abuts the calving face of Portage Glacier at the south end which can not be seen from this angle. You must now take a boat to see the Glacier although at one time the glacier covered this lake that was not visible until 1914. There are a couple more variations that can be found in my Alaska gallery/collection - one without the long exposure on the water.
