Description
Pronghorn Antelope in a Field
There are wild expanses of lands in Harney County, ranging from farm fields, sagebrush fields, hi desert and flood plains, to Steens Mountain rising 9700 feet. A herd of pronghorn antelope, common to the area, make their way across the flood plains basin where a larger Malheur Lake used to be. Now the lake can be either non existent in this area as it was last year, or a smaller footprint as it was this year with more plentiful rain, but a far cry to what it was historically.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
