Sahalie Falls No. 4 BW
I decided to go back to hike the other side of Sahalie Falls along the McKenzie River. The footbridge was closed for repairs, so I started from Carmen Reservoir. The path is not as maintained as the south side of McKenzie River thus some of the areas overlooking the river were very steep and slippery with a fall of up to 100 feet. The cascade of water flowing over Sahalie Falls is quite powerful so in certain areas I had to hold onto my dog's leash along with my tripod and cameras. A beautiful nature walk with lots of old growth trees, and lush forest. Also Available in black and white.
