Short-eared Owl on the Hunt
At first I thought this was a Northern Harrier, as they are common to the Fern Ridge Wildlife Area and have that owl like face, but its heard was so round. Once I got home I was able to confirm that it was a Short-eared Owl, uncommon for the area. There were two flying about. At a later point they were flying around each other.
