Description
Splendor at South Falls
The Trail of Ten Falls Canyon Trail was beautiful, but at some point I got on the Maple Ridge Trail, which ran parallel to the original trail I was on but took me uphill so that when I reached South Falls, I actually had to go downhill (and up hill again). Oh well, it was worth it. A beautiful falls dropping 177 feet. This view of South Falls was near the top and is was probably one of my two favorite captures as the light was hitting the trees and making them shine!

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
