Still Bringing It Home
This is Maisie, my faithful and sweet animal companion, retrieving some bark at a small pond near the Big Lake area in the Willamette National Forest. She is 13 years old, survivor of two bouts of malignant hemagioma pericytoma. She was switched to raw diet after her first bout of cancer (6 years ago) with turkey tail mushrooms supplements and raw goats milk, which I give credit for boosting her immune system, lowering her weight, and increasing her vigor. Although she has slowed within the last year or so, she is still full of love and fun, loves our hikes and walks and snuggles.
