Traveler and His Bachelor Band
This is a picture of Traveler, the lighter color wild horse in the foreground (named by locals) and his bachelor band. Bachelor bands are formed by 2-3 year old colts being evicted from the family herd and forming bands until they are mature enough to try and start their own band by stealing a filly or a band from another stallion. Traveler was evicted from his family herd over the summer and has joined these other bachelors.
