Huntington Gardens in California is one of my favorite places to visit. I used to love to go when I lived there, and it is still as wondrous.
The San Marino Ranch was purchased in 1903 by Henry Huntington. His superintendent oversaw the botanical gardens. Originally over 600 acres, now 207 acres are in the park and including the former mansion, now an art gallery, and library.
There are over a dozen gardens, including this Jungle garden, as well as a lily pond garden, camellia garden, Australian garden, Desert Garden, Japanese Garden, Herb Garden, Palm Garden, Rose Garden, Shakespeare Garden, Subtropical Garden, Chinese Garden, and Children's Garden.

In addition, recently, three large prints of waterfalls (Spirit Falls with Reflection, Moon Falls, and Pinard Falls), were bought by the Cottage Grove Ranger District Office to decorate their new work...
