Young Doe Among The Flora painterly
We watched as this young doe worked her way cautiously around a small island separated from the shore by a small shallow creek that flows from an inlet to the main body of the McKenzie river. There were lots of wildflowers and long grasses there, and she has been back since, so she must like the foraging there. The original photograph has been enhanced with a blended painterly layer. There is also another version of this same doe in my portfolio.
