Description
This bear was nicknamed pancake by our group as the first day we saw her, she was flat on the ground, eating sedge grass and only lifting up her head every several seconds. She got up a couple of times but then immediately went down again. Finally after we left her vicinity, we looked back and saw she had gotten up. The next day we did get a more fuller view. Her coat is so beautiful. She is what iis called a blond, but her fur looks blended to red from top to bottom and she looks like she just got her fur blown out. We heard that National Geographic would probably feature her in their upcoming film on the area.
