Description
We had seen the old sow in the meadow with her two cubs, who then got very alert and a bit scared when another bear was heading their way. The old sow didn't seem too concerned, but when another bear came by, she must have decided the field had become to crowded and ran off with her cubs to nurse them in a more protected areal. A few hours later we saw her and the cubs coming down to the shore.. The cubs were very interested in playing and were running up and down the beach, a bit too far for good pictures, but still fun to watch! Finally Mom headed back to the meadow and we were able to follow along and get some good shots!
