Disagreement between Mustangs, No. 1
As I was driving out through the public lands, three horses came over the ridge, engaged in a fierce battle. Often you see bachelor stallions play fighting, but this fight seemed to be in earnest. One was clearly the aggressor, chasing the one down and then up the hill, fighting the whole time. The third horse, a mare, seemed to be in a panic, following them but trying to keep out of the way. It looked like one may have tried to steal a mare.They ended up going over the ridge, where I could not see them. Hopefully neither was injured. There is a second image of this encounter, both finished with a painterly layer blended in.
