John Fischer Ladder 8 and Engine 217 BW
These are just a few of the names representing the lost on September 11 2001, at the World Trade Center. A white rose has been left behind on the name John Fischer. These names are also a reminder than many of those lost on that day were first responders. John Fischer was a member of Ladder Co. 20 and lost his life in Tower 1. Lt. Vincent Gerard Halloran, 43, Ladder 9, lost his life in the north tower and four members of Engine 217, Lt. Kenneth Phelan, 41, Steven Coakley, 36, Philip Hayes, 67, and Neil Leavy, 34, lost their lives in the south tower.
