Description
Rival Gangs
Okay, they weren't really rivals, but it looked like a standoff for a few moments. I was watching the wild horses when a herd of mule deer came over the hills from the trees. Both the deer and the horses caught sight of one another and stared for a few long moments. There was a water hole in the vicinity. Then the mule deer's leader picked his way west and the rest of the deer followed. I took two pictures quickly of each of them look at one another. They were about 150 yards apart.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
