Safe By Mother's Side - South Steens Mustangs
This mare and colt are the wild horses from "Fending Off Another Mustang to Protect Her Foal." After she got rid of the pesky horse, she and her foal could relax for a few moments. The foal stayed right by her side, here, and later when getting out of the pond as well. I blended in multiple layers of texture on the background to create a more artistic finish.
