The forecast for my Kauai, Hawaii vacation had been rain, rain, rain, for the whole week, but on the second day, the weather suddenly cleared for four days, and it was lovely. There are many sights to see and things to do on Kauai - beautiful uncrowded beaches, challenging hikes, whales, dolphins, birds, and even mountain goats, along with this lovely sunrise along the Princeville cliffs. One of the most magical places on earth, rain or shine, Kauai is lush and tranquil.
