Beaver at Dusk

Just after the light has begun to fall, this beaver came out for his first swim of the evening. A beaver den has been established in this spot for decades and who know how many generations have lived there. The most I've seen at one time, is two - either two adults, or once a mother and her baby. They have not built any nearby dams as there is a lack of predators in the area.
