Black Bears Coys Play, No. 2
These are the same siblings that I photographed in a tree, but here they are further away, up a hill and most of the time playing between two trees. However, it was so joyful to watch them playing. One was definitely the energetic, play instigator. The one would up and down a tree, enticing the other to chase it. They were go around the trees, like ring around a posy. I wish I were closer, or had a more powerful lens but the images cam out surprisingly well for being so far away (cropped), and I hope one can see the fun these two are having. The mother was grazing, but then lay down on her back, playing a bit with the cubs. So wonderful to see!
