Description
Bridalveil Fall
One of the first waterfalls you see when you enter Yosemite National Park, Bridalveil Fall is 617 feet tall and unlike some of the waterfalls in the park, flows year round. Wikipedia tells interesting superstitions revolving around the fall - "The Ahwahneechee tribe believed that Bridalveil Fall was home to a vengeful spirit named Pohono who guarded the entrance to the valley and that those leaving the valley must not look directly into the waterfall lest they be cursed. They also believed that inhaling the mist of Bridalveil Fall would improve one's chances of marriage."

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
