As I drove through the Oregon rain to the Yaquina Lighthouse, I was surprised to find a beautiful day awaited me on the coast. The sun was out, and the seals were frolicking, (bottlenosing) in the waves. The air was fresh and gulls and cormorants drifted on the currents. This was late afternoon, and I loved the image this child made as she explored the pebbles on the beach.
