Description
I have wanted to go up to the Top of Mount Howard vis the Walllowa Lake Tramway for a long time. In 2013 I took a horse packing trip into the Eagle Cap Wilderness which was beautiful but also kind of stressful in dealing with the steep narrow trails on horseback. You get beautiful views of the Wallowas from Mount Howard, and there are numerous trails and one that goes around the summit giving you views of the mountains on the eastern side as well which are the Seven Devils Mountains in Idaho.
