Half Dome from Washburn Point Pano
I had been here in the Spring, but I had missed seeing the valley from Washburn and Glacier Point due to snow. Both views are spectacular and worth the 45-60 minute wait to get up the mountain. I think it is good that the crowds are managed, and parking wasn't bad at all once we got in. It was a bit scary going past a fire along a section of Glacier Park Road where the fire was still smoldering and some fire crews could be seen hard at work. Luckily the winds were blowing the smoke in a different direction and did not affect the grandeur of the views.
