Iris are probably my favorite flower. There are other flowers I love: peonies, magnolia, poppies, but Iris are a sentimental favorite because of my love of Van Gogh. It's hard for me to not to think of Van Gogh when I see an iris. I added layers of texture from another exposure to deepen the background on this and add a Baroque-style effect.
