Message from the Magpie
Associated with divination and prophecy, the magpie is of the crow family. In some cultures, they are seen as unlucky and in others lucky. They are reputed to be one of the most intelligent animals and the only non-mammal who can recognize itself in a mirror. I love their long tail and colors. This one was seen in Alaska and I blended a couple of textures from Teresa wilson and one from Jerry Jones to create a fitting background for this mystical bird!
